My Story

While I have over a decade of experience in childcare at-large, I spent over five years working as a full-time, professional, nanny. Extensively experienced in the early years, I've made a career out of helping families thrive.

In the fall of 2023, I shifted course and spent a year supporting families all over the globe as a temp and travel nanny and joyfully stepped into the calling of caring for mothers and their families through the fourth trimester (and beyond).

Utilizing my years of experience, extensive knowledge and expertise, and God-given baby whispering talents, I'm honored to support families and babies through the postpartum period in Southern and Midcoast Maine (and worldwide ✈️).

With years of experience, specialized training in newborn and postpartum care, and ongoing education in herbalism, hormone health, and more; it's a privilege to walk alongside families as they navigate the tender postpartum season through daytime support and overnight newborn care.

Emma was an absolute game changer for my first 8 weeks postpartum with

baby #2 — she truly felt like family (but more helpful and WAY more knowledgable)! With our first we had night nurses so we knew we wanted overnight help again but Emma was that and more. She took great care of our newborn, allowed us to get a good nights sleep (Her additional 2 hours of overnight coverage made the nights more restful than agency’s standard 8 hours), and even helped out with small tasks around the house that felt completely daunting (washing toddler cups and folding laundry).

Not only did we feel completely comfortable leaving her with our newborn, but she was also great with our toddler during daytime help. We had gotten pretty lax with her during the pregnancy and she was starting to take advantage of us. Emma was extremely patient, kind, helpful, and informative. It was wonderful watching how she modeled kind ways of setting healthier boundaries and enforcing them with her, helping our whole family thrive.
